Almost done with OB clinicals.  Monday evening is the last and then hopefully I'll catch up on the grading.  Two more days with students teaching at OBA.  Then just 2 Sat-Sun rotations at UOChildren's Hosp.  They aren't until Nov and the first weekend of Dec.  That will mean more careplans to grade.  NE won!!!  I worked outdoors because it was beautiful today.  I broke up big branches that had fallen in the easment from the dead cottonwood tree.  I was almost done when I broke a blood vessel in my right thumb.  Fortunately I am still able to use it even tho it turned purple.  No youth Wed pm.  Ken and I practiced playing praise and worship.  I guess that is the plan for now.  More people are attending else where.  But there are some new attenders from Vance.  Bert is working hard to encourage people inspite of the rest.  Well, I rambled on long enough.  Hopefully more enlightening news next time.

It is that time of the year we need to think about school again.  Time for scheduling student activities and tests and grades.  Time to get to know some new students.  Ecclesiastes 3:1

WOW!  It has been a long time since I entered an update.  Just back from traveling.  Taking some time on the computer and realized that it has been over 6 months since I made an entry.  I came on to read datingJesus33.  You'll have to read it too.  Love you all.  Later.

When tasks seem difficult and unrewarding do we quit?

Especially if it is ministry, which can be trying, it would be easy to walk away and say, "let someone else do it."  But what does God want?  If He calls us to minister, He would have to call us to do something else unless the doors are completely closed.  (He has done that before and that isn't fun either but can be a relief.)  So then does that mean we can't just quit?  That is the message I heard today.  Please pray that I have wisdom and direction and time for preparation.
